At our treatment facility at Millcreek, we recognize that the children or adolescents who come to us require many different levels of treatment. In order to be an all-encompassing behavioral disorders treatment provider, and to be able to help as many children and adolescents as possible, we offer the following treatment programs:
- Our psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) program is designed to serve children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 21 who are in need of therapeutic and educational interventions in order be successful in overcoming the behavioral and/or emotional concerns that accompany the presence of psychiatric disturbances.
- Our intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF/IID) program is the only private program of its type in the state of Mississippi. Offering care to children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 21, this program is designed to provide therapeutic, educational, and life skill interventions for youth who are struggling with cognitive impairments and/or developmental delays.
- Our school-based day treatment services are designed to meet the educational needs of children and adolescents between the ages of 6 and 21. This program is tailored to provide therapeutic interventions for behavioral and emotional concerns, while also offering structured academic programs that meet the special education needs of children and adolescents.
- Our therapeutic group home services provide care for male children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 21 who are struggling with behavioral or emotional disturbances. This program at our treatment facility is designed to be a less restrictive option that is focused on improving young men’s daily living and occupational skills. Children and adolescents in this program are also offered special education services, community outings, and employment assistance by our treatment facility.
